There is something in my brain that makes seeing a pumpkin just makes me increasingly happy. Call me basic, but the fall is my favorite time of year. The lead up to the holidays, the nights getting cool enough that a bonfire doesn't feel laughable, the trees exploding into bright colors, and of course, pumpkins. Unfortunately I loose the battle against the squash bore pretty much every year, so I get no pumpkins for my own, so I made some that will never die.
